NEW THINGS TO COME!!

Hello Everyone,

It has been a long time since I've posted anything here and I'm sorry for the absence.  As you all know, I've been penciling a series call ALPHA GIRL for Image Comics.  The last issue that I'm involved with is issue #3 which will hit stands on June 13.

But starting this year On November 21, 2012 NUMBER 13 #0 will be released from Dark Horse Comics.  If you remember NUMBER 13 was a 6 part story which ran in Dark Horse Presents issues #2-#7.  Well, those will be collected and released as issue #0.  And in December the debut of NUMBER 13 issue #1 will hit stands. Written by David Walker and myself with inks by
Dana Shukartsi.   It will be a 3 issue mini-series also from Dark Horse Comics.

There are other big announcements on the way so stay tuned!!

ALPHA GIRL #3 hits stands on June 13.  This will be my last issue of Alpha Girl .  The series will be completed by another artist.

Well, the ALPHA GIRL release party was a success! I had so much fun with the crew, it was truly an enjoyable night. Comedian/actress Margaret Cho was there and literally rocked the house.

I'd like to thank all of the fans out there for their support! 2012 has started out nicely!

Image Announces "Alpha Girl" #1 Sold Out

NUMBER 13...A GOOD RUN...LONGING FOR MORE

Last month saw the end of my 6 part story NUMBER 13 int he pages of Dark Horse Presents. Hopefully many of you picked up the magazine, but if not, it's not too late to get them. It was a lot of fun, but after I finished the last chapter, I felt a bit empty. Empty because there is so much more this story that I didn't get to tell. So in a few months, I hope to have big news regarding NUMBER 13!

INTRODUCING DANA SHUKARTSI!

Last year I teamed up with fellow POPGUNNERS Adam P. Knave and D.J. Kirkpride, on an un-named project. As my schedule got more complicated I wasn't able to ink my own artwork. D.J. and Adam set out on a mission to find an inker, but not just any inker but an inker that could really enhance my artwork. Thus they found DANA SHUKARTSI. She is an up and coming inker in the industry. And from what I see, she's got a very long career ahead of her.

DARK HORSE PRESENTS #2!!

DARK HORSE PRESENTS #2 hit the stands yesterday. I hope that all of you had a chance to pick it up. My five part story, NUMBER 13, made its debut. It's always great to see months of hard work to finally see the light of day. I'm really happy how it all turned out.

I've been extremely busy these last few months. I just haven't had the time to post any new artwork or warm-ups. I have a pretty big project that I've been working on and I'm really excited about it. I can't say anything about it at the moment....but just stay tuned.

Also don't forget to get DARK HORSE PRESENTS #2, which will be out on JUNE 22! Chapter 1 of NUMBER 13, will make it's debut. Also stay tuned for more plans that I have with this project!

I'll get back to posting warm-ups and hopefully debut my new project in a few short weeks!

LUKE CAGE AND WONDERWOMAN

It's been a few a week since I came back from Wizard World Anaheim. The show was a totally different experience for me. It was unlike any show I've been to. I shared a booth with Eisner Award winning editor D.J. Kirkbride and other POPGUN contributors. It was good company.
